This design is inspired by an 18th-century textile sample collection owned by Anders Berch (1711–1774), professor of economics in Uppsala. Such collections were used to study trade and production and now serve as valuable references for reconstructing historical printed textiles.

Anna Hammar-Rosén was a Swedish newspaper editor and the first known female editor-in-chief in Sweden. She published the Gothenburg newspaper Hwad Nytt? What's New? between 1773 and 1785.
