Inspiration to this design I have found from museum collections for block printed designs. The block-impression shows a pattern for a printed textile of floral trails on dark ground. Additional colouring was done by hand. The same floral trail was used for several backgrounds.

If you dear to wear one of these, just let me know and I will create the article.
The Chosen Caracter for this designs is Lucy Terry Prince, Born in 1733. She was an American settler and poet. She composed a ballad poem, "Bars Fight", about a 1746 incident. It was preserved orally until being published in 1855. It is considered the oldest known work of literature by an African American.
