This link takes you to the collection of APRON fabrics

The history of the apron is long and historical finds show that Aprons were used by women as early as the 800 CE. Aprons has several functions: to protect during different types of work, to carry things in, as a fashion item and also as a protection against evil.

During the 18th century, aprons served various purposes beyond their primary function of protecting clothing from dirt and stains. Aprons were also indicators of social status, occupation and even personal identity.

Aprons also had symbolic meanings during the 18th century. Aprons could mean secrecy and femininity; for example, white aprons became associated with virtue and respectability among women. The transition from colored aprons to white aprons among some groups illustrated changing societal norms of modesty and decorum.
