Historical suffrage banner recreation based on 19th-century sources, developed for cultural and historical use.

This banner was recreated following a request from Helena Brodd, representing the Swedish 19th Century Society (Svenska 1800-tals Sällskapet). The project focused on capturing the visual language and character of historical suffrage banners from the period.

The Swedish 19th Century Society (Svenska 1800-tals Sällskapet) is a network of enthusiasts dedicated to exploring life, culture, and traditions of the 1800s. Since 2010, it has grown into an active community connecting people across Sweden with a shared interest in historical living and interpretation.

The society brings together participants through events, gatherings, and knowledge exchange, ranging from historical outings to themed workshops and social occasions inspired by the 19th century.

Communication and coordination take place primarily through their online community, where members share insights, plan activities, and support each other in historical projects.
