Inspiration to this historical fabric design  I got from a Design for a woven silk made by Anna Maria Garthwaite. The original Drawing Technique is Watercolour on paper. Anna Maria Garthwaite was born in 1690 and became one of the leading pattern drawers in the English silk industry despite the likelihood that she did not receive the formal technical training usually considered necessary to take up such a profession.

The given name is: Maria Christina Bruhn, Born in 1732. She was a Swedish inventor. Bruhn invented a fire- and waterproof material that was long used by the Swedish army to store gunpowder in. She was Sweden's first female patented inventor.
