Charlotte Slottsberg (1760–1800) was Sweden’s first native professional ballerina and a star of the Royal Swedish Ballet during the Gustavian era. Trained under French ballet master Louis Gallodier, she became known for her beauty, talent, and leading roles on stage.
Offstage, she was also notable for her long-standing romantic relationship with Prince Charles (later King Charles XIII), which brought both fame and scandal. Despite societal criticism, she left a lasting mark on Swedish cultural history and helped shape the early ballet scene in Sweden.
