Jacobina Charlotta Munsterhjelm (1786–1842) was a Finnish noblewoman best known for the diary she kept as a teenager between 1799 and 1801. Written in Swedish, her diary offers a rare and detailed look into everyday life, social customs, and literary interests of the Finnish aristocracy during the late 18th century. She wrote about family life, estate workers, seasonal events, and books she read, such as Robinson Crusoe and Clarissa. After her father's death, financial difficulties led her to move with her family between estates, eventually settling in Tuulos. Jacobina never married and died at age 55. Her diary remains a valuable historical source and has been studied and exhibited widely.
