Product Description
This fabric is a reproduction based on an original Blekinge apron held by Blekinge Museum. The original apron is described as a thin wool apron in plain weave, with an oak leaf pattern in blue and beige and a ground filled with brown stars.
The apron was found in Lars-Petterstugan and is connected to the Blekinge dress tradition. The original object may date from around the 1750s, and it may also represent hand-printed textile work from Blekinge.
