Sofia Magdalena of Denmark (Danish: Sophie Magdalene), born July 3, 1746 at Christians borg Castle in Copenhagen, was a Danish princess who was married to King Gustav III and queen of Sweden 1771–1792. She was the daughter of Fredrik V of Denmark and Louise of Great Britain and the mother of Gustav IV Adolf.
