Terms of Service
Time Management & Project Responsibility
Each customer is responsible for planning and managing their own project timeline, including allowing sufficient time for production, potential adjustments, and any unforeseen delays.
SummerSunStories does not take responsibility for project timelines, deadlines, or delays affecting the customer’s intended use.
All production time estimates are indicative only and may vary depending on production queues, season, and technical factors.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that production and delivery timelines are outside the control of SummerSunStories and must be accounted for within the customer's own planning.
Customer-Specific Production & Samples
SummerSunStories produces made-to-order and customer-specific textiles.
If any adjustments are requested, including scale, colour, or design modifications, a sample production is strongly recommended before final production.
SummerSunStories assumes no responsibility for the outcome of customer-specific productions where changes have been made without prior sampling.
Sample production follows the same production timelines as standard production.
Order Acceptance
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all order details are correct, including:
- name and recipient
- delivery address (no P.O. boxes)
- email address
- phone number for shipping communication
No changes or cancellations can be made once an order has been placed.
By completing a purchase, the customer confirms acceptance of SummerSunStories’ terms.
Production & Delivery
All products are made-to-order (MTO). Production begins only after a confirmed order has been received.
The estimated Order Lead Time (OLT) is between 21–35 days, depending on production capacity and season.
This timeframe does not include shipping time.
Delays may occur due to production adjustments, reprints, technical factors, or logistics. SummerSunStories is not liable for such delays.
Shipping
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
Tracking information is provided once the order has been dispatched.
The customer is responsible for monitoring shipment progress using the provided tracking information.
Payment
Payments are processed via Shopify-approved payment methods, including PayPal, bank transfer, and Swish.
Bank transfer is recommended for optimal currency exchange conditions.
Orders are processed after payment confirmation.
No Changes or Cancellations
Due to the made-to-order nature of all products, no changes, modifications, or cancellations can be made once an order has been confirmed.
Additional items must be placed as a new order.
Liability
The customer is fully responsible for selecting appropriate products, materials, quantities, and specifications for their intended use.
SummerSunStories is not responsible for:
- incorrect customer selections
- unsuitable use of materials
- project delays or missed deadlines
- results of customer-specific design decisions
Damaged Shipments
All shipments are sent with tracking and sealed packaging.
If a parcel appears damaged upon delivery or pickup:
- do not accept or sign for the parcel
- document the damage with photos
- contact SummerSunStories immediately
If damage is discovered after delivery, photos must be taken before opening the parcel.

SummerSunStories processes personal data in accordance with GDPR. Personal information is handled confidentially and is not shared with third parties beyond what is required to fulfil the order.
